Mondays

Middle School Art Club

grades 6-8

Middle-School Art Club will continue through the end of the school year! This class will be taught by Mx. Constance Speer, our middle-school's new art teacher. Planned art activities include screen printing and mural painting. Artists of all abilities welcome! Cost = Free (Funded by PTA)

STEM Club

Grades 3-5

Students will have fun learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math concepts using kits from the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Students will develop knowledge and skills in biology and coding to explore how robots can be used to solve problems. Monday club will be led by 3rd-grade teacher, Mr. Lee.

Cost= Free (funded by PTA)

Tuesdays

Crochet Club

grades 2-8

Join our after-school crochet club on Tuesday’s 2:30-3:30 in room 213. We welcome all skill levels 2nd grade and up. whether you’re picking up a hook for the very first time or already crocheting like a pro. We believe creativity grows best in a kind and supportive space, so students of all skill levels can learn, share, and have fun together. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Origami

grades K-5

After-school Origami introduces students to the Japanese art of paper folding. An expert instructor from Strategic Kids will guide students step-by-step as they develop patience and precision. Great for beginners, with extra challenges for returning students, Origami provides hands-on, engaging fun. Recommended for grades K-5.

Wednesdays

Garden Club

grades 1-4

Come learn about growing food and flowers in our school learning garden! Students will plant seeds and harvest some of what they grow! We'll cover topics like soil health, plant parts, the life cycle and more. This session will be led by Nicole Parish, an environmental educator from Seattle Parks and Recreation. Let’s get digging! Cost = Free (funded by PTA)

Wednesdays

Art Wizards

grades K-5

Art Wizards allows students to practice and develop their drawing skills. With a different focus each week (birds, sea animals, people, landscapes, cartoon characters, mythical creatures...), our veteran instructor helps students build confidence and unlock their creativity. Cost = $150

Thursdays

Chess

grades K-5

After-school Chess teaches students the rules and strategies of the game. With new lessons each session, friendly gameplay, and group discussions about chess tactics and timing, this after-school opportunity is fun for beginners and seasoned players alike. Cost = $126

Mondays

Cartooning

grades K-5

Cartooning is a unique activity that improves artistic ability and teaches storytelling techniques, as it helps kids express ideas visually and in sequence. Our program keeps it simple by teaching children how to create cartoon characters step-by-step, with themes ranging from sea creatures to geometric shapes! Cost = $120
